Capturing my work and process through photography and video isn’t just a nice bonus for you to see on my page after, it is essential for a modern tattoo career. Photos and videos greatly help me market my art.
Throughout our time together I may take photos and video of the session to help with the creation of my youtube page along with all other socials.
Aesthetic Clothes For Photo Shoot
Here is a board of ideas I have saved to give clients a better idea of aesthetic clothes to wear after their appointment for the photoshoot of their tattoos.
This helps clients get a better idea of clothes that I feel will compliment the type of work I do and help keep my portfolio more uniform.
In a nut shell id prefer if clients wore neutral, fashionable clothing without logos.

Photography Pose Inspiration
The importance of poses in photography cannot be underestimated.
My goal for having inspirational poses for my clients to see beforehand is to give them a chance to see what type of vibe I'm looking for when continuing to build my portfolio along with giving them the opportunity to save any poses they would like for me to use for their tattoo photoshoot. I love sharing the photos I take of my clients with them, this is a big moment for them and I love capturing it.

How to Prepare for a photo shoot
As a tattoo model, there are several things you can do to prepare for a photo shoot:
1. Communication:
Communicate with the photographer beforehand to discuss the concept, mood, and overall vision for the shoot. This will help you understand what is expected of you and allow you to prepare accordingly.
2. Skincare:
Prioritize skincare leading up to the shoot to ensure your skin looks its best. Follow a consistent skincare routine, stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest. Additionally, take care of any necessary grooming tasks such as hair or nail maintenance. Hydrated skin is preferred to tattoo on verse dry skin.
3. Practice posing:
Spend some time practicing different poses in front of a mirror. Experiment with different poses that flatter your body type and showcase where your tattoo will be located.
4. Wardrobe selection:
Discuss wardrobe options with the photographer to ensure your outfits align with the shoot's concept and mood. Bringing extra clothing options is typically recommended.
5. Confidence and mindset:
Approach the shoot with a positive attitude and confidence in your abilities. Remember to relax and have fun during the shoot, as this will translate into better photos.
